Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy applies to the SentiTrack.ai website and the SentiTrack web application that we operate. It describes the cookies and similar client-side storage technologies that are set when you visit or use the Service, why they are used, and how you can control them.

This document focuses specifically on cookies and similar technologies. For a fuller description of how we collect, use, and disclose personal information — including the email metadata and sentiment scores processed on behalf of our business customers — please see our Privacy Policy. Where this policy and the Privacy Policy address the same subject, the Privacy Policy governs broader data-handling questions.

"Cookies" are small text files that a website or application can place on your device through your web browser. They allow a site to recognize your browser and, in some cases, to remember information about your visit. Cookies may be "session" cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain until they expire or are deleted.

"Similar technologies" include other mechanisms a website can use to store or read information on your device, such as:

• localStorage and sessionStorage (collectively "web storage") — key/value data stored by the browser for a given website. Unlike cookies, web storage is not automatically transmitted with every network request and is read only by code running on the site that set it.
• Pixels, tags, and similar identifiers — small files or scripts that can record certain device or usage information. We do not currently use these for tracking or advertising on the Service.

We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this policy unless we say otherwise.

SentiTrack is a business productivity tool, not an advertising or behavioral-tracking platform. We deliberately keep our use of client-side storage minimal. In particular:

Authentication via browser localStorage (strictly necessary)

When you sign in to the SentiTrack application, the app stores authentication tokens — specifically, your access token and refresh token — in your browser's localStorage. These tokens are what keep you logged in and allow the application to make authenticated requests to our servers on your behalf. This storage is strictly necessary for the Service to function — without it, you could not log in or use the application — so it is always active and is not subject to consent. The same localStorage-based access- and refresh-token mechanism is described in our Privacy Policy.

No tracking or advertising cookies

The SentiTrack application does not use tracking cookies, cross-site advertising cookies, or behavioral profiling technologies. We do not sell or share personal information collected through cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.

The technologies used in connection with the Service fall into the following categories.

1. Strictly necessary (always on)

These are required for the Service to operate and for features you have requested, such as logging in and maintaining a secure session. As described above, SentiTrack uses browser localStorage to hold your access and refresh authentication tokens for this purpose. Strictly necessary storage cannot be switched off through our interface because the Service would not work without it; if you block it in your browser, you may be unable to sign in or use core functions.

2. Functional / preference

These remember choices you make so the Service behaves the way you prefer. For example, the Service stores certain interface preferences — such as whether the navigation sidebar is collapsed or expanded — in your browser's localStorage so your workspace appears the way you left it.

Functional and preference data of this kind is stored in your browser and is used only to improve your experience of the Service. Disabling or clearing it may cause the Service to forget these preferences but will not normally prevent you from using core features. If we introduce a cookie banner in the future, we would also store your consent choice in this way so that we do not repeatedly ask you; we do not store any such consent choice today because no banner is currently shown (see below).

3. Analytics, advertising, and other non-essential cookies

We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking cookies on the Service, and the Service uses only the strictly necessary and functional/preference storage described above. We reserve the right to introduce analytics or similar tools in the future. If we do, and where consent is required by applicable law, we will request your consent before any such non-essential cookies are set, and we will update this policy accordingly.

Certain features of the Service rely on third parties that may set their own cookies on the pages they host or the content they provide. We do not control these third-party cookies, and they are governed by the relevant third party's own cookie and privacy policies.

Stripe (payments and billing)

We use Stripe, Inc. to process payments and manage subscription billing. When you go through checkout or interact with billing pages hosted or powered by Stripe, Stripe sets its own cookies for purposes such as fraud prevention, security, and the proper functioning of its payment interfaces. These cookies are necessary for Stripe to process payments safely. We never see or store your full card number. Other connected integrations

If a customer enables optional integrations (for example, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, RingCentral, Microsoft Teams, Slack, or Zoom), those providers' own sign-in or authorization pages may set cookies during the connection or authentication flow. Any such cookies are controlled by the respective provider and are subject to that provider's policies, not ours.

AI sentiment providers are not a cookie flow

A core function of the Service is sending email bodies to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) to generate a sentiment score. This processing happens server-to-server between our systems and the provider's systems; it does not involve cookies or any other technology set on your browser or device. That data flow is governed solely by our Privacy Policy, not by this Cookie Policy.

Consent for non-essential cookies

Strictly necessary storage (including the authentication tokens described above) is always active because the Service cannot function without it, and it is not subject to consent. The Service does not currently set any non-essential cookies, so no cookie banner is presented today and there is nothing for which your consent is currently required. If and when we introduce non-essential cookies for which consent is required by applicable law, we would present a cookie banner allowing you to accept or decline those cookies before they are set, together with a "Manage cookies" control through which you could change or withdraw your choice at any time, and we would update this policy accordingly.

Controlling cookies and storage in your browser

You can also control cookies and web storage directly through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:

• View, block, or delete cookies and clear localStorage and sessionStorage data;
• Refuse cookies from specific sites or all sites; and
• Receive a warning before a cookie is stored.

The exact steps vary by browser; consult your browser's help documentation (for example, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge) for instructions. Please note that blocking or deleting the authentication tokens or strictly necessary storage used by SentiTrack will prevent you from logging in or using core features of the Service.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals

Because the Service does not currently use cross-site tracking, sharing, or advertising cookies, there is currently no sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising for which a browser "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal would change our behavior with respect to cookies. We will honor such signals to the extent required by applicable law, and we will do so for any future non-essential technologies where the law so requires. This Cookie Policy addresses only cookies and similar client-side technologies. How we handle personal information more broadly — including the email metadata, one-way hashes, sentiment scores, and employee attributes that we process on behalf of our business customers, the roles of customer (controller) and B2 Group (processor), our sub-processors, international transfers, and your rights — is described in our Privacy Policy. We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes in the technologies we use, in our practices, or in applicable law. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date and version below. If we begin using non-essential cookies that require consent, we will obtain that consent as described above before they are set. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, your continued use of the Service after an updated Cookie Policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

This Cookie Policy is provided for transparency. Nothing in it expands the warranties, obligations, or liabilities of B2 Group LLC beyond those set out in our Terms of Service, which govern your use of the Service and establish the binding mechanism for changes to our documents, in each case to the maximum extent permitted by law.
